Talesmith is looking for best-in-class Development team members:

Shooting PD with casting experience:         

To help cast a series for a major US SVOD over the summer. This will involve travelling across the US finding characters and shooting casting tapes. This role will involve crafting an entertaining, new, factual format in close collaboration with Talesmith’s Creative Director, ensuring the real-life characters and stories are strong and diverse enough for Season 1 next year.

Duration: 6 weeks

Development Producer:

A producer who understands the US SVOD market, can brainstorm creatively around science and natural history, and readily write great treatments. You’ll be working closely with Talesmith’s Creative Director and a well-established network of commissioner relationships. Talesmith’s development is fast-paced, fun and creative. This role requires an exciting, thorough understanding of genres and storytelling through the pitching process, from premium factual to returning formats.

As Talesmith grows, we are also looking for strong leaders in the Development team. This role has the potential to become longer term. It offers the chance for the candidate to establish and/or expand their network, to grow with the company.

Duration: 3 months initially

Development AP:

This role is for an AP ready to dive into fresh and exciting series in science and natural history. You should be as good at hitting the phones to build relationships as your ability to dive in deep on a story to uncover the must-have, sellable detail. This position will cover premium projects as well as returning formats.
